There have been multiple known instances that the crew of Affordable Water treatment have taken advantage of their customers by over charging, not delivering product as promised, and pulling “bait and switch” tactics to try to lure their customers in so they can take the money and run. Affordable Water contacted me in Nov. 2015 because they said they were contacting homes in my area due to the “rust issues” that were occurring in my area. I was told that the rust in the water had the potential to make me and my family sick and I needed to have a new system installed in my house immediately. However, I am on city water and we do not have a rust issue. Mr. Durham wanted $10,000 to install a slew of new water treatment products in my home. I knew it was ridiculous! I declined as fast as I could but fear that this company might be taking advantage of other people!

A representative of Affordable Water contacted my elderly Grandmother and scared her into thinking she needed a total overhaul of her water system. They were going to install a softener and an iron and sediment filter of some kind. They wanted $8,700. My grandmother did not have an issue with rust and had just had a softener system installed 2 years prior. Luckily I was able to intervene before they did any work! Do not let this company fool you, do not use them!

I had a softener system installed by these crooks last summer and not only did they charge me $4,500 for it but it does not even work! I have tried to get them to come out and fix it for a year and they keep giving me the run around, saying that they will come fix it or call me back and they never do. I am so frustrated and feel cheated. Whatever you do, do not use this company!

I made the mistake of using this company because I needed an Iron filter installed in my new home. There is a lot of rust in the area that I live and I have well water. I had a bad feeling about using this company the first time I met with Paul but I decided I needed the Iron filter more than I was worried about these guy’s personality issues. Well, I should’ve listened to my gut instinct because it has been 6 months and I still do not have an iron filter. I paid 75% up front because this guy said he needed it to purchase materials. I can’t get a hold of him or anyone else at Affordable Water. I will be taking this company to court to get my money back! Do not make the same mistake as I did!
